Nine strains of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis isolated from healthy animals, consisted of three porcine strains, two bovine strains, one canine strain, one avian strain, and two human strains were serotyped by bacterial agglutination test. Of three
porcine isolates, two belonged to 0 : 3 and the other to 0 : 4b, and of two bovine isolates, one belonged to 0 : 1b and the other to 0 : 3. One isolate from a dog belonged to 0 : 4b, one from chicken to 0 : la and two from men to 0 : 3 and 0 :
5a,
respectivley. The prevalence of serotype was higher I order of 0 : 3(44.4%), 0 : 4b(22.2%), and 0 : la, 0 : 1b and 0 : 5a(each 11.1%).
